  1. Hi Narender,
Nice blog and some nice photos….I am planning for a trip to Ladakh (Nubra-Pangong-Tso Moriri) in Sep and had a few questions

    1. I read somewhere in your blog that Sep is the best month for Photography/seeing Ladakh. Why is that so ?
    2. Can you suggest some nice places/locations in Ladakh for Night/Star Trails/Milky Way photography
    3. For Night Photography, where do you charge your Camera batteries

    Thanks,
    Manish

    • Thanks Manish.
Sep is the best time for photography with clear weather and blue sky most of the time.
Entire Ladakh is good for night photography.Choose any open place minus any building/electric poles with an interesting foreground.
Hnale village is the bestest place for astro photography.
If you really wanna click some breathataking milky way, star pics, spent few days in Hanle.
As for charging,if you are travelling in a car, carry a inverter for charging your batteries as power is limited in Ladakh. Also do carry some extra batteries and one wide angle lens.
      Keep in touch.Regards.

Planning to cover Ladakh on a Vespa 125cc.
Would there be any issues regarding the automatic scooter
or shall I undertake the journey on a 150cc geared one??

    • Thanks for liking the pics.Glad you liked them.
You can go to Ladakh on Vespa 125 automatic gearless scooter but get.
But if you really wanna have a super experience and amazing time,go on a geared one.
Geared one 2 strokes scooter is very suitable for rough Ladakh and will never let you down.
Cheers,Feel free to ask any question regarding scootering in Ladakh.

Keep doing it across Maharashtra but when it comes to ladakh it appears a little out of bounds because of the nullahs…I will be in Kazakh in a few days and was wondering if I should dare ride to pangong and other tough parts alone on a scooter. Or is there a better way you can advise me?

Water crossing depends on amount of water.Activa can cross most of water crossing. If water crossing is big and fast, even Bullet will have to be push.
